Lakeside Children's Ministry

The LIGHTHOUSE is Lakeside's children's ministry program. The LIGHTHOUSE has kid friendly programming for a newborn on up through a 5th grader.

Our mission is to "partner with parents in the spiritual growth of their children."

We offer programming for children during both of our Sunday services. While kids are here we want them to feel welcomed, cared for and learn about our amazing God so they will G.L.O.W...........

Sunday Mornings at Lakeside

The lighthouse strives to make the morning excellent for the children who enter our doors. Check out our age divisions and what is offered.

Nursery: (Babies-2 years)

Parents can attend worship or a class knowing that their child is being cared for in a safe, loving environment. We have a great group of volunteers who serve on a consistent basis.

Pre-School/Kindergarten

We want kids who range in ages 3 years -Kindergarten to know and believe 3 truths by the time they leave this department.

Thru creative, biblically based teaching, DVD led worship and small group activities, children will begin to understand who our wonderful God is!

Elementary (1st-5th Grade)

Our desire for the Elementary age student is to help them to trust God no matter what, make wise choices, and to treat others the way they want to be treated. We want them to continue to grow in their journey of knowing Jesus and to live it out in their life. This is accomplished by offering biblically based large group teaching. During our small group time, kids are learning how to live out their faith in their Monday through Saturday lives at school, home, sports team, etc.

Wednesday Night Program -- Returning this Fall

You are invited to KidSurge, Lakeside's Wednesday night children's program. Starting September 10th, students 4yrs-5th Grade can get plugged in and powered up about their walk with Jesus. There will be electrifying games, crafts, and projects centered around a powerful weekly Bible lesson. Be transformed at KidSurge each Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:30 P.M. Meals are served for your family's convenience at 5:30 P.M., so come early and enjoy dinner with us! Registration is ongoing throughout the year, your child can start at any time.
