Deeper Life Track

Life Tracks are practical, short-term courses or events designed to jumpstart your spiritual life and ignite your passion for serving Jesus Christ. Want to see some progress in your spiritual journey? Would you like to witness increased health and vitality in your relationship with Christ? The Deeper Life Track is a series of courses that will help you live out God’s truth in your daily life. The Deeper Life Track is for those ready to deepen their roots and more deeply impact their circle of influence for Jesus Christ.

L.I.F.E. Group
Life Groups meet once a week, over a ten-week period, for the purposes of learning, inspiration, fellowship and encouragement. Before meeting, group members complete a weekly study guide based upon the past week's sermon. Groups meet on almost every day of the week. Life Groups will begin again early this fall.

Discovering Your Gifts
This four-week course will help you discover how God has uniquely shaped you for service. Begins Sunday, October 1st, 9:00 am in Room 121.

How To Study the Bible
This six-week course will equip you with essential skills for understanding and applying the Bible to your life.

Becoming an Influence
This four-week course will help you impact your circle of influence with the good news of Jesus Christ. In a special "VBS for Adults" presentation, this class will be offered July 11 & 12 (Wednesday & Thursday) at 6:30 p.m. in Room 121.

More Than Money
This ten-week course will give you a Biblical perspective on your finances and help you develop a plan for living debt-free. Begins Wednesday, September 12th, at 6:00 p.m. in Room 137. Please R.S.V.P. here ASAP to allow us to pre-order your materials.

Help for Parents
This course will help you discover and apply Biblical principles of training up your children to love and serve Jesus Christ.

For Serious Bible Study

The IVP New Testament Commentary Series InterVarsity Press, a not-for-profit division of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, has provided the Bible Gateway with their New Testament Commentaries! Edited by Grant R. Osborne, D. Stuart Briscoe and Haddon Robinson

The Bible Gateway On this site you can look up any passage of Scripture in most any translation of the Bible. By loading this website in a separate browser window, you can listen to your favorite passages being read in the background as you work or surf the web.

StudyLight On this website you utilize several powerful features that are generally only available in expensive Bible Software packages. Here is a sampling of what they have:

Study Interlinear Bibles (Greek appears alongside English; notes: you can download fonts to see words in actual text, or you can just view English alphabet equivalents)
Study Parallel New Testament Bibles (i.e. view two passages from two translations side by side)
Study the Bible in the Original Languages (Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic), and cross reference words in Strong's English Lexicon
The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia (For in depth information about any Bible name, topic, doctrine, issue, etc.)
They also have many other commentaries, encyclopedias, historical books, lexicons and dictionaries to help you in your personal Bible Study.

Holy Land Photos View over 350 quality photos and maps of the Holy Land. They are regularly adding new images. These photos can be used in any setting by mentioning their website address.

The Blue Letter Bible An outstanding website containing excellent charts, lists, images, timelines, Bible encyclopedias, dictionaries, commentaries, introductions to books of the Bible, and some really good study tools. The site is easy to use.

Bible Classics Find out what the classic Christian writers believed by viewing this extensive commentary listing. Includes classic commentaries by Luther, Wesley, Lightfoot, McGee, McGarvey, and other well known Christian thinkers.

Navigators This is an organization committed to helping Christians study Scripture. They have lots of useful study tools that can be downloaded and/or viewed online. Navigators also has a complete selection of materials that can be purchased for personal or group study.

BuildingChurch.net Take a Spiritual Gift Inventory on this website and learn how God has gifted you for ministry. They have verses and related information about Spiritual Gifts.

For Christian Links, Resources and Information

Christianity.com This is the main site linking to dozens of Christianity Today publications. They have dozens of articles from recent publications. They also have a search engine linking to a comprehensive list of Christian websites.

Gospelcom.net This is an excellent resource for online sermons, articles, links, events and other information of interest to growing Christians.

Bible Reading Plans

We have prepared two extremely helpful Bible Reading Plans to aid your spiritual growth.

Chronological Reading Plan

This plan arranges all the books of the Bible in chronological order, or in the order in which they were recorded in history. This plan allows you to track the unfolding revelation of God through the Patriarchs, Kings, Prophets, Jesus and Early Church.

This plan arranges portions arranges the chapters and verses of the Bible so you are reading portions from the Old and New Testament every day. This is by far the most popular reading plan.
